AUDIENCE INTELLIGENCE FOR PODCASTERS

Podcast analytics is hard.
You don't have to guess what's working.

PodAnalyst brings Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube into one dashboard, and shows you real retention — where listeners stay, where they leave, and why.

01 / Why We Built This

You already have the numbers. The answer is what we add.

Downloads. Listens. Followers. There's no shortage of charts — the scarce thing is your time, and a clear read of what's actually happening. Your show's story is spread across a dozen screens, and pulling it together by hand is hours you'd rather spend on the next episode.

Bringing it together is what PodAnalyst was built for.

02 / Always On

While you're recording, editing, or living your life, Radar is already listening for what matters.

Radar runs in the background on every PodAnalyst plan, listening around the clock for signals in your retention, growth, timing, and pacing. Every finding arrives as a proactive insight, evidence attached — the explanation as well as the number.

Ep. 31 is having a second life
Plays are up 42% over the last three weeks, mostly from new listeners. It's your third most-played episode this month, even though it's four months old.
Retention

Ep. 47 loses listeners fast in the first five minutes
It holds 94% at the quarter mark, but drops sharply between 2:00 and 5:00, about 18 points steeper than your show average for that window.
Rhythm

Wednesdays are your strongest day, by a wide margin
Across the last 8 weeks, Wednesday listening runs 34% above your daily average, the clearest pattern in your week.

03 / Go Deeper

Radar tells you what changed. Iris tells you why.

Meet Iris.

Iris is your dedicated Pod Analyst, built specifically for podcasters and grounded in your own show's data every time you ask. Ask why an episode lost listeners, what topics are building your audience, or what to do next, and the answer comes back grounded in your real numbers — an analyst built for podcasting from the ground up.

04 / The Data

Real retention, second by second — the clearest read on your audience you can get.

Episode-level retention, pulled directly from Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, so you can see exactly where listeners stay, where they drop off, and how every episode compares. The real curve, from the platforms' own first-party data — never an estimate or an average. YouTube analytics are included on Pro and above.

Read-only access, and your platform passwords stay yours. You invite PodAnalyst as a viewer on Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify for Creators and YouTube Studio, and you can revoke it from those same pages whenever you want. How connecting works

05 / Roll-Ups

A dashboard per show is fine. One view of every show is better.

Network Roll-Up.

Network Roll-Up gathers every show in your account into one view, so you can read the whole line-up at a glance. Rank them side by side by listeners, plays, or retention, and see which show is carrying the network and which one is quietly growing. Included on Pro and above.

On Network, you draw the lines yourself. Group specific podcasts into a roll-up of their own, a true-crime slate in one, your interview shows in another, and read each group as its own network without losing the whole picture.

06 / Readouts

You've done the analysis. Presenting it is the easy part.

Readouts on demand.

Turn any period into a presentation-ready Readout on one show or your whole network. Choose what goes in — summary, audience, episode performance, reviews, keyword rankings, a show-by-show breakdown — and every section comes with written commentary that explains what the numbers mean and what to do about them.

Your branding runs through the whole document, from the cover — whose it is, who it's from — to the last page. And an optional rate card turns it into a commercial one: your ad slots and rates, set against the audience in the same Readout. If you'd rather a section argued a different point, you can rewrite the instruction behind it.

Export your Readout as a PDF for the client, or as an editable slide deck for the room. Included on Pro and above.

August's gain came from the back catalogue rather than the new run — three older episodes accounted for most of the extra plays, and the Wednesday slot is doing the work.

07 / Support

You'll always know who's on the other end of the email.

Support from Jim and George.

Support at PodAnalyst is Jim and George — the two of us who built the product. When you write in about a number that looks off, a platform you want connected, or a feature you'd like to do more, your message lands with the people who know it best.

That's on purpose. The questions podcasters send us are the clearest signal we get about what to build next, and we'd rather hear them first-hand than read them in a summary.

Wherever you need a hand, someone who knows the product is on the other end.

Questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Community is free and stays free — no card and no trial clock. You only reach for a card if you want retention data or YouTube.

Do you need my platform passwords?

No. PodAnalyst never asks for your passwords. You invite its data account as a read-only viewer on Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify for Creators and YouTube Studio, and you can revoke it from those same pages. Connecting your data walks through it.

How long until I see numbers?

Usually within a couple of hours of connecting. Each platform reports on its own schedule, so a brand-new account's first data can take a little while to appear.

What's actually different on Pro?

Retention data is the main one — on Community those columns are blurred, and retention is where you find out why an episode worked. Pro also adds YouTube as a third platform, 200 episodes of history instead of 50, the Network Roll-Up, Readouts, CSV export and API access.

Can I cancel, and what happens if a payment fails?

Cancel any time. On a paid plan, Billing in your avatar menu opens Stripe's portal, where you can change plans or cancel — PodAnalyst never sees or stores your card. If a payment fails, your account drops back to Community limits, your data stays put, and the paid features return as soon as payment succeeds.
