# PodAnalyst

> PodAnalyst is podcast analytics for podcasters. It unifies Apple Podcasts and
> Spotify data in one place, tracks four metrics — unique listeners, listening
> hours, plays, and followers — and adds Iris, an AI analyst that answers
> questions about your show in plain English. The Community plan is free.

PodAnalyst is a web app at https://app.podanalyst.com, behind a sign-in. This
file covers the marketing site at https://podanalyst.com, which is where the
public product documentation lives — the Help Center below is the most complete
description of what the product does.

Everything in the product is built on four metrics:

- **Unique listeners** — how many different people listened. The closest thing to an audience size.
- **Listening hours** — total time spent listening. The strongest signal that people stick around.
- **Plays** — how many times episodes were started. Higher than listeners, since one person can play several episodes.
- **Followers** — people who have subscribed, so new episodes arrive automatically.

Two features sit on top of those numbers. **Radar** is the show's home page: Iris
reads the latest figures and writes up what is worth attention. **Iris** is the AI
analyst, and it can also be reached from Claude or ChatGPT over MCP, so the same
questions can be asked from an assistant the reader already has open.

PodAnalyst never asks for platform passwords. Access is granted by inviting its
data account as a read-only team member on Apple Podcasts Connect and Spotify for
Creators, and it can be revoked from those same settings pages. Because the
platforms report on their own schedule, a new account's first data can take a
couple of hours to appear.

Plans: **Community** (free — one podcast, 50 most recent episodes, Radar, Iris
starter credits), **Pro** ($49/mo — episode-level retention, three podcasts,
unlimited Iris and team seats), and **Network** ($299/mo — up to ten podcasts with
