Your show
Dashboard
Your Apple and Spotify numbers together — how the four metrics are trending, plus your latest episodes and reviews.
What this page is for
The Dashboard is the bird's-eye view. It answers "how is my show doing lately?" across your four metrics, with your recent episodes and reviews alongside so you can connect a spike or a dip to something specific.
The four tiles
Across the top sit Unique listeners, Plays, Listening hours, and Followers. Each tile shows the total for the selected period, the total for the period before it, and the percentage change between them.
Click a tile to change which metric the chart below plots. Only one metric is charted at a time — this is how you switch between them.
The change badge compares this period to the previous one of the same length. On the current, still-in-progress month, the comparison is withheld until the month completes — you can't fairly compare a part-finished month to a whole one.
Choosing what you're looking at
Four controls shape everything on the page, including the episode table and any export:
- Reporting mode — Monthly (the default), Past 60 days, or All time. Monthly is best for spotting trends within a single month; All time gives you one point per month for the long view.
- Date range — step backwards and forwards with the arrows, or type a date directly.
- Platform filter — Apple, Spotify, or both together. This is the whole point of PodAnalyst — comparing how the same show performs on each platform.
- Grouping — roll the chart up by day, week, month, or year.
- Cumulative — toggles the chart from "per period" to "running total". Useful for seeing the overall shape of growth.
Recent episodes
Below the chart is a table of your latest episodes, with how many listeners each one started with, its % from Avg, and its retention at the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% marks.
- % from Avg compares an episode against what a typical episode of yours was doing at the same age in days. It's the fairer comparison — a three-day-old episode shouldn't be judged against a year-old one.
- Retention shows how much of the audience was still listening at each point through the episode.
Pro feature
On the Community plan, the retention columns are blurred. Upgrade to Pro to unlock them — see Plans and billing.

Recent reviews
The bottom strip shows the newest reviews from Apple Podcasts. For the full picture — average rating, star distribution, and trends over time — see Reviews.
Annotations
You can pin a note to a specific date on the chart — a launch, a guest, a feed problem, a promotion — so you can explain a spike or dip later, or to a colleague.
Shift-click anywhere on the chart to drop an annotation. Notes can be threaded, so teammates can reply, and everyone in the thread gets an email when a new reply lands. This is how you build a shared record of why the numbers moved.
Exporting
The download button in the chart toolbar saves everything currently on screen as a CSV — the four metrics, per platform, per period. It follows your reporting mode and date range, so you don't need to re-pick filters.
How to read the CSVs explains every column.
Pro feature
Exporting is available on Pro and Network. On the Community plan the button opens the upgrade prompt.
