What this page is for

The Dashboard tells you how the show is doing overall. Episodes tells you which episodes are doing it — and, more usefully, which ones held on to their listeners.

The three tabs

• Performance — how many people each episode reached.
• Attention — how much of each episode people actually listened to.
• % of Average — each episode measured against your show's typical performance, so a small episode and a big one can be compared fairly.

Reading the comparison line

Above the table sits a summary of your show's own baseline: the average episode, your top episode, the median, and a normal range (the high and low of what counts as typical for you).

Every episode is then classified against that baseline:

• Above average — beat your typical episode
• Average — in line with it
• Below average — underperformed it

This is deliberately relative to your show. A number that looks small can still be above average if your show is growing — and the reverse is the more useful warning.

Retention

The retention columns show how much of the audience was still listening at the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% marks of each episode. This is where you find out whether people stayed or bailed.

A rough way to read it: a steep drop between 25% and 50% usually means a slow opening. A cliff near 100% is normal — most listeners don't reach the end.

On the Community plan, retention quartiles are blurred with a lock. Upgrade to Pro to unlock them on this page and the Dashboard.

How many episodes you'll see

PodAnalyst shows the most recent 50 episodes on the Community plan and 200 on Pro and Network. The CSV export follows the same limit.

Exporting

Export CSV saves the episode table exactly as you're viewing it — including the percentile and retention columns.
